- or events beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to venue closure or government restrictions)
In this case, you will be offered: - a transfer to another date, or
a full refund of the ticket price
Our liability is limited to the ticket price only.
Weather
Our tours will go ahead in most weather conditions – if it is safe to do so, please always dress for the weather as much of the tour is outside.
Language
All tours are conducted in English.
Accessibility
This is a walking tour with a series of stops at venues across the city. The route is approximately 3.5km and the experience takes approximately 4 hours. The route includes steep canal access routes and steps. Two of our venues are listed buildings and are not fully accessible.
For those requiring a carer to accompany them, we offer a free carer place (no food or drink included). If you want to book on to a tour with a carer please book yourself a ticket and then email us to inform us that you will be bringing a carer with you.
Assistance dogs are welcome on our tours. Unfortunately not all of our venues are dog friendly so we are only able to accommodate assistance dogs.
Guests have access to toilets at six stops throughout the tour.
Changes to route, venues, or inclusions
We reserve the right to make reasonable changes to the route, timings, guide, venues, tastings, drinks, or other inclusions where necessary. Any substitute will be of comparable overall value.
Personal Responsibility & Liability
Guests participate at their own risk and are responsible for their own health and wellbeing during the tour, including crossing roads, consuming food and drink, and moving between venues.
Our tours are suitable for over 18s only.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Living For The Weekend Ltd accepts no liability for any injury, loss, damage or delay experienced during the tour, except where caused by our negligence. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, or for acts and omissions of participating restaurants except to the extent that such loss is caused by our own breach, negligence, or failure to take reasonable care in organising the tour.
Our total liability is limited to the ticket price paid.
Dietary requirements and allergies
Our current tour has been carefully designed as a fixed menu experience, showcasing a specific selection of food across our partner venues. As a result, we’re not able to provide alternative dishes to accommodate dietary requirements at this time.
We do not share the full itinerary with guests as part of the standard booking process as discovering each dish is part of the tour experience. However, if you require a list of dishes in order to assess whether the tour is right for you, please email foodtours@birminghamrestaurantfestival.co.uk.
We are excited to expand our offer in the future with more options to accommodate wider needs.
Guests are responsible for managing their own dietary needs during the tour.
Alcohol
As part of this experience you will have access to three alcoholic beverages, each served by appropriately licensed partner venues. The venues supplying the alcohol reserve the right to request valid ID and to refuse service of alcohol where required by law and responsible service standards.
No alcohol options are also available but please note that the tour price remains the same.
Photography & videography
From time to time, we may capture photos and videos during our tours for use on our social media channels and in promotional materials. If you would prefer not to be included, please let your tour guide know at the start of the tour, and we will ensure your wishes are respected.
Privacy
We process personal data in line with our privacy policy.

By completing a booking, guests confirm they have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
