Colmore Business District is the commercial heart of Birmingham, with over 500 companies employing around 35,000 people and occupying approximately 5.6 million square feet of office space.
As well as being a hub for business and professional service firms, the District also boasts a thriving leisure and hospitality offering, with a host of award-winning independent and chain bars, restaurants, cafes and more.
The Macallan was one of the first distillers in Scotland to be legally licensed. Since then they have built a reputation as one of the world’s leading single malt whiskies. Their exceptional oak casks are the single greatest contributor to the outstanding quality, natural colours and distinctive aromas and flavours of The Macallan. They spend more per cask than any other distillery in sourcing, crafting, seasoning and caring for its casks! We look forward to introducing you to this prestigious whisky during the festival.
Highland Park Single Malt Whisky has been made in the same way for over 200 years. Orkney’s surprisingly mild climate, coupled with a commitment to using only the finest quality sherry seasoned oak casks, means that this much-loved whisky matures slowly and quietly, even while the winds rage outside the distillery walls.
Highland Park is widely known for it’s unique, harmonious balance of flavour and character , a delight for the taste buds – we’re sure you’ll agree.
Laphroaig is the no.1 peated single malt globally & in the UK. It is bursting with complex flavours that pair perfectly alongside food, making it a great partner for Birmingham Restaurant Festival.
Laphroaig was founded in 1815 and has been dividing opinions ever since. Give it a try, what do you think?
Bowmore was the first licensed Islay distillery. The pioneer.
It has stood on the shores of Lochindaal, a sea loch opening out into the wild Atlantic Ocean, since 1779. To this day, the distillery still operates in traditional ways, Bowmore is still hand crafted today. Time is invested at every stage, and this care and attention to detail create the unique and timeless house style of Bowmore. Unparalleled single malts that remain unimitated and age like no other on Islay.
