Qavali
Qavali is an Indo-Persian restaurant & whisky bar offering a range of cocktails alongside flavourful dishes. Every serving of food at Qavali has travelled the same path as qawwali music – over the mountains of Turkey and Iran, the plains of Afghanistan; and alas, the dewy fields of India and Pakistan.

STARTERS
Sultani Chaat
Cumin-spiced Kabuli chickpeas with wheat crisps and lentil dumplings. Topped with dates, tamarind chutney, mint and rose scented yoghurt and pomegranate kadayif
Samsum Pide
The city of Samsun is famous for it’s pide, a thick form of flatbread. Qavali’s is topped with onions, tomatoes, peppers, garlic and cheese along with a choice of paneer (V) or chicken or lamb
Mast-O-Musir
A Persian classic. Homemade sour yoghurt infused with shallots for a sweet and slightly sharp kick

Diced cucumber, tomatoes, red onion and dried ground mint finished with a squeeze of lemon and pomegranate seeds

MAINS
Balunchi Charcoal Chicken
Half chicken marinated overnight in green chillli, roasted coriander, cumin and fresh lime. The chicken is cooked on a mangal charcoal grill and served alongside saffron rice
Indo-Persian Koobideh
From the streets of Iran to the finest restaurants, koobideh is immensely popular. A skewer of minced lamb which has been spiced, seasoned and chargrilled to perfection
Punjabi Chicken Tikka
Qavali’s take on a Punjabi favourite. Succulent pieces of marinated chicken tikka, topped with fresh coriander and chaat masala (a hot sweet and tangy spice mix)
Shahi Butter Chicken
The classic Delhi style dish of chicken tikka cubes, cooked in a rich and creamy tomato sauce
Kashmiri Lamb Rogan Josh
Cubes of lamb, slow-cooked to perfection and simmered in a rich sauce of Kashmiri chillies, tomatoes and onions
Darbari Paneer Karahi
Indian cottage cheese simmered in rich karahi spices – along with chillies, onion, tomatoes and peppers. The cheese has a melt in your mouth finish and is on par with culinary royality
