Westside’s Wonderful Venues Welcome The Birmingham Restaurant Festival 2026

Westside is where the city comes to unwind – a lively canalside stretch around Brindleyplace and Broad Street, packed with restaurants and bars. From Chinese sharing plates and Italian classics to global bar food, the district’s dining scene has never looked more exciting.

This year, five stand-out restaurants in Westside will serve exclusive Festival Menus, showcasing just how well you can eat in the area.

Festival Highlights

Del Villaggio

Del Villaggio brings Italian warmth and authenticity to Broad Street – freshly made pasta, stone-baked pizzas and classic Italian dishes across two spacious floors. The Festival Menu, including a dedicated vegetarian option, is Del Villaggio at its most generous.

Lulu Wild

Overlooking the canal at Brindleyplace, Lulu Wild pairs a contemporary take on Chinese dining with striking interiors, a stylish crowd and a lively atmosphere. Lulu Wild is offering a separate vegetarian option; both Festival menus look so tasty it will be hard to choose even if you are a die hard carnivore!

Siamais

Siamais sits in the heart of buzzing Oozells Square, a picturesque hub for culture in the city centre. This Thai restaurant blends authentic Thai cuisine with an innovative and theatrical cocktail selection. Its diverse menu has made Siamais a cherished destination for locals and visitors alike, seeking a taste of Thailand in the city.

Wagamama Brindleyplace

Wagamama Brindleyplace serves up the fresh, Asian-inspired fast food without compromising on flavour that has come to be expected of this national institution. The Festival Menu brings together gyoza, bao, ramen and the ever popular Katsu curry – no booking required, just turn up and dig in.

The Alchemist Brindleyplace

Sitting right on the canal at The Water’s Edge, The Alchemist Brindleyplace brings striking interiors, inventive cocktails and globally inspired menus to Westside’s liveliest corner. Go for the Festival Menu, stay for the vibe.
